During the late 1980's the Historian for the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, Bob Holden, wrote a series of articles which were published in the local newspaper. Some of the articles related to the area's involvement in the War of 1812 and the Tippecanoe campaign are reprinted here.  The original series was titled: Muskets, Tomahawks and Long Rifles.
