The early 19th century was an interesting time for fashion. The era sits between the 18th century with its strict fashion rules and the glamour of the Victorian era.  The roller press had been invented and new exciting colors and prints were available.  The fashions of this era took advantage of these new materials and the fashion changed to best show off the exquisite fabrics. Participants will show off the clothing they wear and a speaker will talk about the fashion of the day.  Every presentation is different as it never is known who will show up or what they will be wearing.
