Midwinter's Feast,
A Hedge Hogs Huzza

Date: January 26, 2008 - 6 p.m.

Location: Vincennes, Indiana at the Fortnightly Club Building located on the corner of 6th and Seminary Streets.

Merry making, dining, and dancing will be the goal of the first Hedge Hog Huzzah. The merry making will begin at the hour of 6 in the evening on the 26th day of January in the year 2008.  All who read this notice are invited to attend.  Admission is free except that all must bring a food dish to share with others (foods prepared in the manner of the 18th and early 19th century are encouraged).  The Spirit of Vincennes, Inc. and the Vincennes/Knox County Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide the main course and drinks. Dishes and utensils will be provided (you may wish to bring serving utensils for your food contribution).

Period clothing is required.  All attending should dress in a manner appropriate for the periods 1732 thorough 1815. Seating is limited. This event is a free event however, donations will be accepted to help defray costs.
    
The Trade Fair at Linton Indiana will be held this same weekend.  Participants are encouraged to visit the trade fair during the day then retire to Vincennes for a wonderful evening of entertainment and camaraderie.
