Merchants

Merchants play an intricate role during the annual Memorial Day event conducted upon the French Commons at Vincennes, IN. Their marquees contain a wealth of 18th century wares. Everything from frocks to flintlocks; from pottery to plants; from jewelry to jaw harps may be purchased. The simple act of browsing through the aisles of commodities will provide an education about the essential items used daily by 18th century folks.

Besides entertaining and educating the public to the fascinating facets of 18th century life, Rendezvous merchants also sell all of the clothing, equipment, and accoutrements necessary to turn a curious visitor into a participating reenactor.
